Ash Canyon B and B
-
When in the Huachuca Mountains, you simply must visit Mary Jo's Hummingbird Haven. Not only does she have many hummers with the star being the Lucifer Hummingbird, she has a feeder station that has hosted almost every species found in the Huachucas.
There's a map and GPS coordinates on her web site. Please take a look before going so you won't need to ask for directions. When you visit Mary Jo's place, you may encounter two new gates on Spring Road. The first is marked "Private Road." There's a "No Trespassing" sign next to the second gate, which refers to the property to the south of Mary Jo's, and not to the road. Mary Jo's birding friends are always welcome -- just leave the gates as you found them. Please drive slowly through the neighborhood. Parking is limited to six spaces on her property. No RVs. It is important not to disturb the neighbors. Please do not slam your car doors and keep your voices down as much as possible. Losing this area would be a terrible loss to the birding community.
A $5 donation is requested. If you can see your way, a little extra in the kitty is very much appreciated.
There are no toilet facilities. The nearest toilet is the composting toilet in the first FS campground on Miller Canyon Road, not far beyond the cattle guard.

Battiste's Bed and Breakfast
-
Tony and Julie's B & B is perfect for those that cannot just get up and go. The birding from the yard and the size of the B & B afford them to be able to pay special attention to those that need a little extra assistance and Tony just thrives on being able to show the birds in the yard. The Elf Owl is his baby. They are not big, but offer themselves as little or as much as guests want. They have a little piece of heaven here and love to be able to share it. They are located at the base of Miller Canyon in Hereford, AZ. Minutes away from Ash, Carr and Ramsey Canyon.

Another Bed and Breakfast in Madera Canyon. I always feel so welcome when I visit here. They are in the heart of the canyon and the birds twitter incessantly. Truly a birding haven.
